From phishing attacks mimicking trusted institutions to the emergence of sophisticated scams like deep fakes and sextortion, cyber criminals familiar online retailers. Fraudsters have also made use of fake celebrity or influencer endorsements to promote shady investment schemes, luring people with the temptation of making impossibly high returns.
